These disposable cups are pretty cool. I use 'em for propagating roses instead of buying a bunch of lattes just to get the cups, haha. They're sturdy enough that I can wash them and reuse them multiple times without any issues. The lids fit snugly too, so no worries about spills or anything like that. Makes the whole process way easier than trying to find suitable containers elsewhere (I tried using yogurt tubs once, disaster).I've propagated dozens of roses with these cups now, and they've all taken root perfectly. Plus, it's nice not having a ton of used plastic cluttering up my place. I guess you could use them for their intended purpose too, if you wanted to make iced coffee or smoothies or whatever, but honestly, I prefer the rose route. The only downside is that people might think you're weird when they see your cups full of dirt and little stems, but hey, who cares? They don't know about your awesome secret weapon for growing roses like a pro. (I once had a neighbor ask me if I was growing mushrooms, so be prepared for some funny questions).
