There really isn't any hold in this bra if you are large chested. I am a 36DD and am in my 30s after 2 children (you know what that means) but the top is cute and will do.Super cute but unfortunately does not fit me. I am a 36DD and ordered a L per the size chart (my bust is 41") This band fit fine but the cups were way too large and not supportive. More just like large padded caps for my boobs, if that makes sense. LOLIt is always so hard being a petite build with a larger cup size and finding a good swimsuit. But this has got to be the best swim top I've ever purchased! It is very good quality and provides exactly the lift and coverage that I need! I am normally a 34 DDD and weigh 140 and am 5"6, and got the 38 C which fit absolutely perfect if that helps.This top fit great! I am a size 40D and the XL fur perfectly. I purchasedrhe bikini bottom from Dillards and was determined to locate he matching top and low and behold Amazon had it for only $19.99 with shipping And tax I spent $26.00 I am beyond happy. I attached a photo, I am a working progress on my bodyIt looked pretty and well made but way too small in the bust. Maybe this was a 36DD without the padding, but with the padding the coverage was not good, I was bursting out of those cups. And because the cups didn't fit, the waist strap folded strangely underneath. Will be returning.Fits well, only one issue with the straps.
