These are helpful for measuring resin for surfboard repair. However, you can also get the right measurements using plastic wine cups just by pouring an ounce of water into a wine cup and remembering how far that gets you into the cup. And wine cups cost about one tenth as much and are actually easier to use for mixing. However, a good product to have around for measuring small amounts.4 Oz is the magic number our surgeon gave us for meal size after bariatric surgery. We used these to measure out meals during the stage two diet.We still have tons of these cups around the house as they are fairly sturdy and reusable. We wash and reuse them in the kitchen. They make great prep cups for small ingredients while cooking and they're graduated so you can measure right into them. They wash up well with a rinse in the sink.4 ounce graduated cups are hard to find - but I found 'em. :-) These cups will work great for mixing epoxy paints before spraying. I know they have the 3 little standoffs inside the cup to help with stacking - those can be a bit irritating when mixing, but other than that, these are perfect. Received them quickly from the seller, too. :-)Decided to try these for measuring fragrance oils. Was so tired of breaking the small glass measuring cups I was using. So far, these are holding up and can slightly bend to make a funnel for pouring. Washes easily and not retaining the smell of the fragrance.I bought these for measuring and mixing epoxy resin. Worked like a charm, the epoxy cured properly when poured in ~2 ounce doses. About the only thing I don't like is that the graduation marks are raised on the inside of the cup, which interrupts scraping the inside a little. It didn't really seem to hurt much, but it made me go "ugh" a little and I think that's worth a star. It also means you can't run a sharpie over them to increase the contrast without getting sharpie in your resin. They're great cups, they'd be perfect cups if the markings were on the outside.Got these for mixing resin. Nice wide mouth for pouring and stirring. The cups are much more rigid than some of the other cheap mixing cups. Only thing I dislike is the little tabs on the inside of the cup make it tough to scrape around the bottom edges while mixing. That being said, all of my pours with these cups have cured properly and it lets me mix less resin for small pours (50mL minimum for 1:1 resins)these are great cups for the money and they are great for mixing resin, they are marked in oz. and mm but not very good. The numbers are not easy to read. These are great cups. They are the perfect size for mixing the small batches of epoxy I use for woodworking. The smooth bottom makes complete mixing easy and they are flexible enough to form a pour spout by squeezing the lip. The graduations are built in to the outside of the cups so they are permanent and easy to read in both ounces and milliliters. There is also a rough area for writing on the opposite side if needed. I filled one of the cups with boiling water to test what happens when they get hot and while getting a little softer, it held its shape and returned to normal when cooled.
